    Plaquenil or Actemra? Opinions - Arthritis - Inspire Jun 29, 2016 It's been a year and I'm doing ok fingers crossed. Orencia put me into remission and I believe that Actemra has done the same. I believe there is a big difference between Plaquenil and Actemra. Plaquenil is not as strong of a medication and to my knowledge is for more mild cases and has the least amount of damaging side effects.
